How We Protect Your Privacy

MyBookmark uses AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard used by militaries and financial institutions worldwide. Your encryption key is derived from your master password locally in your browser using PBKDF2 with 310,000 iterations. This key never leaves your device. We store only encrypted, unreadable blobs of data on our servers. Even a complete database breach would yield nothing useful to any attacker.
